The first thing to hit you about Udon Thani’s Centre point night market is its pure size. We’re talking big and every available outlet space on either side of the road is taken. If they could make the walk aisles any smaller I’m sure they would, but when manipulating the catwalk Thai girls need a little room.
Great place to visit especially on your 1st night in udon thani. Every local dishes or street food you want to try would probably be available there. Hundreds of stall that sell cheap goods that are made in China or Vietnam.
Fake goods are everywhere but remember good stuff don’t come cheap do buy at your own risk.
The local pineapple which is the size of an apple is a must to try; it’s awesomely sweet, juicy and crunchy. It’s selling at 18bahts per 100g or 160bahts per kg. A steal considering you can only find this quality in udon thani.
You’ll see everyone there – young and old. Great place to eat – fresh fish, Thai dishes, Iranian dishes, even Swenson ice cream sundaes. Walk for hours, shop and eat. It’s a lot of fun.
