Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1 is the main long distance bus station in Udon Thani and it’s conveniently located in the city center only 500 meters walking distance from Udon Thai Railway Station. Central plaza 200 meters

There are two other major stations in Udon Thani:

Private long distance bus services operate from a stop out CentralPlaza which is only 270 metres walk from Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1.
Udon Thani Bus Terminal 2, which is an out of town bus station located 5.4 km to the west with only long distance bus services to largely the same destinations as those you can reach from Udon Thani Bus Terminal 1.

For this reason you need to check carefully which services will suit you best. Some of the bus services stop at lots of small towns and take an indirect route to other larger towns and cities. Unless you are planning to go to one of these small towns you probably want to make sure that you travel on a more direct bus service.
